Terms & Conditions
Tamnamore Gymnastics Club participants must abide by the following guidelines in addition to the relevant codes of conduct and other policies that the club adopts. By accepting these you are agreeing that you have read and understood the club rules, code of conduct and commitment to the club. Please be on time to collect your child, if you have arranged for someone else to pick up the child inform the coach in charge. We will not let children leave with other people if we have not been informed. If you have any questions, please speak to a coach either before or after your childs lesson.
Any parent/guardian caught being rude to any member of TGC staff or any coach will mean expulsion of their child/children from the club.
Insurance
There is a legal requirement to affiliate to the National Governing Body as Recreational Members. Affiliation to British Gymnastics buys each gymnast/coach Public Liability Insurance and access to British Gymnastics resources. Any child not insured will not be able to participate in any gymnastics lessons this is parent/guardian responsibility. Clothing
All gymnasts must wear a leotard with shorts/leggings while in the gym. Crop tops/ Bra tops are not allowed due to Safeguarding issues. In the cold weather gymnasts can wear a zipped jumper/hoodie/jacket over their leotard. New members will have an induction period of 4 weeks in which they can wear leggings, shorts, and t-shirt after which they will be required to wear a leotard with shorts/leggings for Girls, shorts and a tshirt for Boys. Gymnasts are not allowed to wear any jewellery during training sessions (this includes body rings / bars, nose studs).
Safety
Please keep all contact details up to date and let us know of anyone other than yourselves if they are collecting your child from Gym.
Any accidents are always recorded in the accident book and a coach will see you at the end of the lesson.
Long hair must be tied back as it can be hazardous.
Please try to remember a hair band.
Gymnasts must not go on the equipment without supervision of the coach.
Bullying is not tolerated. Any member who is found to be bullying will be suspended from the club.
Refunds
Classes will not be carried over or exchanged for any other class time or day for any reason.
When joining TGC you know what time your child’s class is and you have agreed to that time for the term that you have paid for.
A refund WILL NOT be given for:
- Occasional classes missed.
- Any injuries occurred whilst outside the gym.
- Deciding to leave after your first session.
Class Arrival / Departure
Parents must ensure that their child / children are taken to the door on arrival for the lesson. Please do not leave your child waiting in the Crossfit gym area unattended.
Please do not wait in the car outside the premises to collect your child. You must come to the back door of the building and collect them.
Monthly Fees
Payment must be made on time failure to pay after the required date will mean your child/children forfeiting their membership at the club. When cancelling your subscription the Head Coach must be given at least 1 month written notice to cancel payment otherwise payment will still be taken for the following month.
Photography
By agreeing to the T&C's you give permission for TGC to take photographs during gymnastics class and posting on the club Instagram/Facebook page.
